We are based at the Centre for Stem Cell Biology in the School of Biosciences, University of Sheffield. We are also part of the Bateson Centre, the Sheffield Institute for Nucleic Acids (SInFoNiA) and the Sheffield Neuroscience Institute.

We are part of the School of Biosciences, which is ranked in the UK top five for biological research and number one for biomedical research (REF 2014). Sheffield is located in the north of England, about 2 hrs by train from London St. Pancras International and 1 hr from Manchester. It is also very close to the Peak District National Park.
